Salut à tou.te.s ! I'm Jenny, and I major in Comparative Literature and French as part of the Class of '22. I started studying French in high school, and I studied abroad at NYU Paris for a bit in Spring 2020. I'm very excited to work with Yujing as Co-Presidents and support all our e-board members to facilitate interesting events for everyone, regardless of our levels of fluency. We'll be doing our best to bring together our Francophone community at NYU, and feel free to strike up a conversation!

Hi everyone, my name is Jamie and I’m so excited to be your director of events this year! I’m a rising junior majoring in economics and global liberal studies and I’m also a big Francophile. We’ve been working hard on bringing back our fan favorite events from pre-COVID days as well as designing lots of new and even more fun events. This year, I’m looking forward to being able to see all the familiar faces I’ve missed and of course getting to know our new members as well! We’re all excited to have some sort of normalcy back in our lives and I hope the French Club can play a part in that for you. À bientôt!

Yujing Zhang
Bonjour ! My name is Yujing, and I am a senior double majoring in French and Global Liberal Studies, and I spent my freshman year in Paris. This year I am honored to serve as the Co-President for the French Club alongside Jenny. We are committed to connecting enthusiasts of the Francophone culture on campus and in NYC at large, and facilitating future events of the club with the entire amazing E-board!

My name is Fred Franken, I'm a Junior at Stern studying finance and sustainable business. I am the secretary of the French Club and will be handling the clubs newsletters and coordinating with Jamie for event planning. My role is to keep everyone informed about upcoming events and ensure smooth communication between our team and club members. I look forward to my first semester with the club and meeting members at our events!
